<div>This week we will learn about Henri Matisse and we will create a picture using organic shapes (shapes that we find in nature; remember geometric shapes are usually man made). you will need a piece of paper. It can be anything from a sheet of white paper, a piece of construction paper, a piece of cardboard; it is up to you to be creative in choosing your background. Do read your assignment first in the pdf below. Your organic shapes can be from magazines, cereal boxes, tissue or any other solid color paper you can find that can be cut into an organic shape. Be creative and most of all have fun!</div><br>

<div>This is an art lesson on reflection. You will draw your facial features which reflect your outer-self, as well as, creating an inner-self portrait that reflects your hobbies, thoughts, and emotions. I have included an example in color of the picture as it should look finished.</div><br>

<div>Hi guys, boy do I miss you! I miss seeing your art and watching you develop your abilities. <div>We will not continue our Tree of Life at this time and our study of Klimt, instead we will be working on pattern by becoming a designer and looking at careers in the area of design. A packet went home with all the information for the next two weeks. This will be self-paced even though I have made suggestions doing a small portion each day.</div>
<div>Miss you and look forward to being back in school.</div>
