Troup ISD students and their show animals brought home ribbons from both the East Texas State Fair and the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. Congratulations to these students!
At the East Texas State Fair:
Courtney Lynn placed 2nd in class with her ARB steer, and 1st in class with her Maine Anjou steer.
Brianna Lynn placed 2nd in class with her Black Cross steer.
Cadence Ellis placed 1st in class with her Grand Champion Angus, and 2nd in class ORB.
Izzy Owens placed 1st in class with her Reserve Champion Chianina, and 3rd in class ORB.
Karrigan Owens placed 5th in class with her Angus.
At the State Fair of Texas in Dallas:
Lindsey Lowry placed 24th out of 103 with her cockerels.
Grady Lowry placed 10th out of 88 with his pullets.
Lindsey placed 13th out of 88 with her pullets.
Lindsey Lowry took 2nd in her class market barrow.
