Welcome to Troup Middle School! 

 

Troup Middle School is a vibrant, safe, kind, and caring campus where all students can grow and learn. TMS teachers have high expectations for students but also understand the importance of knowing and connecting with their students. We hold very high standards for our academic courses, but TMS also has so many other ways for our students to be connected to our campus. TMS includes a variety of programs such as athletics, the fine arts, UIL academics, and more. 

 

The 2023 - 2024 school year will be my first full year as the Principal at TMS and I am excited to serve the wonderful staff, students, and parents. Previously, I spent 11 years as a band director and this will be my seventh year on this campus as a teacher and administrator. I am blessed to return to a place where excellence is pursued daily for all students. I am an energetic educator that enjoys helping students, teachers, and parents reach (and even surpass) their goals. I believe that individuals (of all ages) only sometimes understand a fraction of what they are capable of. My greatest reward is seeing that capacity built daily on our campus.
