Counselor
My name is Ivy Coon and I have been a part of the Troup ISD family since 2005. I taught for 17 years at Troup Elementary and, after getting my master's degree in school counseling at Lamar University, joined the Troup Middle School in 2022 as counselor. I am married to Chris Coon who teaches 5th grade reading at Troup Elementary. I have 3 children: Corgan who attends University of Arkansas, Jacob who attends Troup High School, and Briar who attends Troup Elementary. I also have 3 bonus children: Emory who attends Stephen F. Austin State University, and Daxton and Tatum who attend Whitehouse ISD.
